"Best New Years Ever!!"

I came down to montreal to celebrate New Years and this hotel made my stay most enjoyable. Very friendly staff, great hotel rooms with a big bed which is super warm. The lobby area is great, i ate at the resteraunt which was very yummy and the bar had a great atomosphere and reasonable prices. Next time I am in Montreal I will 100% be staying at the Sheraton Centre.

Horrible
WORST HOTEL IN TOWN

THIS HOTEL NEEDS TO RENOVATE COMPLETELY INSIDE OUT. THE ROOM I STAYED HAD SPIDER THE FIRST DAY I CHECKED IN ON APRIL 23, 2009. THEY CHANGED ROOM FOR ME. THE TOWELS WERE DIRTY, OLD, AND THE QUALITY NOT TO MENTION. I THINK MOTEL 6 HAS BETTER QUALITY TOWELS. SECOND DAY STAY WAS EVEN WORSE. THE WHOLE HOTEL HAD NO HOT WATER. ASKED THE FRONT DESK, THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHEN THE HOT WATER WOULD RESUMED. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL. THIS HOTEL IS NOT A 4 STARS HOTEL. YOU CAN GET A BETTER HOTEL SOMEWHERE ELSE IN MONTREAL WITH THE PRICE THEY OFFER.

No Early Check-in Help

Overall the hotel was very good. My only problem is that they made no effort to accomodate an early check-in. Although others checked-in in front of me, my room was not ready and the front desk would not ask housekeeping to prioritze the room nor would they switch my room to a "ready room." After a seven hour drive, walking around the city for three hours waiting for the guarentee check-in time was an inconvenience.

Blocks from the Bell Centre, the metro and St Catherine Street - what more could you ask for? Staff is friendly and helpful - parking is a little expensive, but there are several public garages nearby. Will stay here again.

Great downtown stay near Bell Centre

I had never been to Montreal before, and chose this hotel because it is near the Bell Centre, where I attended a concert. I was worried about the language barrier, but every staffmember I encountered was completely bilingual, as were most people I encountered in Montreal. Food in hotel was pricey, but good. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood, so if you are looking for cheaper food, it's plentiful. Bed was comfortable, but like most hotels, they use the thin, too-soft pillows, whereby you need to use three of them to equal one decent pillow
