Another reviewer said you wouldn't get anything like it at a comparable price in the US - but what we paid for a week would get you half a day in a US hotel. However, it was snowing out, and pretty cold, so in between sightseeing and eating dinner we did want a comfortable place to come back to. The room was fine, big enough, warm enough, comfortable bed, everything worked, bathroom stuff changed each day, beds made, not a bad view of Mount Vitosha in the distance. There was a TV that worked, but we're not big TV watchers even at home. The breakfast was fine, too - lots of it if you wanted. Funny enough, there WAS a smell of smoke when we checked into the room. The lobby had a nice doorman, and appeared to have several wealthy Eastern European couples checking in.. Read review

We were quite satisfied with our room on the sixteenth floor which had a spectacular view over the city. There was also a mini-fridge, TV and the bathroom was spacious. Furthermore there was an abundant supply of shampoos, soaps, dental and shaving kits, plus a hairdryer. Obviously this room was not designed for guests to have breakfast in.. Read review
