Hotel Van Eyck - Bruges, Belgium     

We stayed here for 3 nites in June of 08 and booked through booking.com for 70 euros per nite. Hotel Van Eyck was exactly as we expected it to be. Although the hotel is one a quiet street, it is only a block or two to the central square of the city. It is also only about 40 yards to a bunch of different restaurants. The woman who runs the hotel is very nice and very helpful. She made us feel right at home. A continental breakfast is served each morning from 8:30 to 10:00 and is included in the price of the room. There was fruit, cereal, yogurt, a bunch of different breads and croissants, and orange juice. The rooms aren't big, but are very clean and comfortable, and the bed was very cozy. There is a small tv which gets around 15 channels. The hotel was very quiet, and there was very little noise from the street, which was great. There is no internet connection available, although I was occasionally able to pick up a random signal. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Van Eyck, it is a great value.

We were a group from Spain staying at the Hotel Van Eyck, and the experience was very positive. The custumer service was great. The lady at front desk was totally helpful, and the fact that she was fluent in english, spanish, french... and several other languages was much apreciated for all the members of the group. The accomodation was really clean, and the size of the rooms was ok. The bathrroms were a bit small as they always are in north europe. We do recomend this hotel to anybody travelling to the beautiful city of Brugges.
