Hotel De Hofkamers - Oostende, Belgium     

De hofkamers is an excellent hotel!! We stayed here for the second time. The owners are very friendly and also very nice to our dogs. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is fresh. We would recommend this hotel to everyone. We will go to this hotel everytime we stay in Ostend! We stayed in different hotels in Ostend in the past but none of them is as good as the hofkamers.

My husand and I spent a lovely 2 night stay here.We had a very nice friendly welcome from the owners who explained that because of the large number of walk-ins that day we had been upgraded.The suite of the 6th floor was very nice and superbly clean.There was even a view of the sea from the little balcony(all be it at a 90 degree angle) . Car parking in town is much like many european cities(underground).It is a 2 minute drive from the hotel and a 5min walk back.We were given a map and had no problem finding the car park. Breakfast was an above average meal for this type of little hotel.The dining room is very nicely decorated and the staff were very good. Remote internet access was available free of charge. Ostende has some very nice restaurants so we did not take dinner in the hotel nor did we stop for a drink at the bar. Local public transport is very good and a trip on the tram along the coast is a must. We will stay here again when we next visit Ostende.
