Alpha Hotel - Oostende, Belgium 

Whoever gave a positive rating to this shoddy dump has obviously never been in a decent hotel. I have seen 4 rooms in this place and the word Alcatraz springs to mind ,only Alcatraz probably has better views.. The rooms are dark and tiny. Ours had spiders' webs hanging in all corners. The single beds are about as wide as a skateboard. the corridors are dingy, dusty and tired.The view out of all of the rooms I have been in was of a narrow gap between the hotel and the next building, with an iron stairwell thrown in for good effect. The clown on the reception could not cope with 8 people checking in at once and messed up the whole process, allocated the wrong rooms and charged too much. Breakfast is served in the back of a dated, shabby restaurant/bar with the worst toilets you could imagine. Nothing is less appetising than cold boiled eggs. Do not come here, you will be sorely dissapointed and pretty uncomfortable.

Mauvaise expérience Chambre recues très petites et poussièreuses Murs remplis de moisissures et noircis sur plusieurs mètres carrés. Réception fermée un samedi de 11 à 14h Salle de bain petite mais correcte Petit déjeuné correct Couloirs et ascenseur très exigus PLUS JAMAIS
