Girasol - Cala Millor, Spain 

We've just returned from a week at the Hotel Girasol and I agree with the other review this is NOT a 4 star hotel, closer to 3. If you are English you will be in the minority, not only in the hotel but in the resort of Cala Millor itself as it mainly caters for Germans. The hotel rooms are clean, air conditioned but small. We also found the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Most of the staff were friendly but the entertainment and the restaurant menus are in German and Spanish. We spent some days around the pool and others on the beach (the beach is just a 5 min walk away), however the website photo of the hotel is misleading as there is a another hotel infront of the hotel Girasol, so even from the 7th floor (as our room was) the "Sea View" is obstructed by the back of the hotel which does have a clear Sea View!!! Although we enjoyed our week , we found the hotel to be dated and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know. We thoroughly enjoyed Cala Bona and found some lovely Spanish restaurants in the harbour which was another down side to Cala Millor; we struggled to find decent restaurants there.
