Check in / front desk

We stayed for six nights at Aran Park Hotel while my husband attended a conference at Nuova Fiera di Roma convention centre. The hotel is a LONG way from the convention centre. You need to catch a bus-metro-train-bus to get there. The hotel is too far from Rome if you are a tourist. You need to catch a bus to get to the metro (I had to wait 45 min for a bus) and then take the metro to central Rome.
The staff at the front desk were neither helpful nor friendly. No tourist information was on offer, not a single leaflet in the entire hotel and nobody could inform you about a tourist office.
The beds were very uncomfortable and the bathroom looked tired and not very clean.
This is NOT a hotel for anybody who wants to visit Rome and enjoy the sights.

My family and I stayed here due to my husband's company
convention. This was possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! The beds were hard and uncomfortable, there was no shower curtain (which is commom in Europe). The hotel maids
left our room door OPEN all day after they cleaned! Thankfully,
nothing was stolen. The front desk personnel were not professional at all. We were told by one man that the shuttle that
goes to the train and bus station were available all day, and all you had to do was call them. We found out that this was not the case at all-as told to us by two very rude front desk women. And
if that were not enough negatives-the breakfast buffet, which was
ample, was next to open windows which allowed birds to fly in and over the food area! The servers were fully aware of it and seem very unconcerned. Needless to say, we could not leave
fast enough! Hope this helps a future traveler.
