I booked one night at hotel Centrale in April. However, the experience with the management and front desk was horrible. Upon checking out, I was wrongly presented an extra-fee for using the Pay-TV system at 1: 00AM!!! I hate to dispute in public, but I did that with the manager and the front desk. Their accusation was: "because you press the Pay-TV button three times, and the system automatically charges you." My response to their accusation was: How can that be possible if I was soundly asleep at that time. I did not know what was on the TV!" I disputed the charge and refused to pay them! It was a dis-honest system of management. Such an outrageous charge! In addition, like other reviews, their toilet space is EXTREMELY COMPACT. I was glad to stay there only one night!! I will never stay or book that hotel again. And I will tell my students, who are studying in Brussels, and their friends not to use that hotel.

This hotel has a suberp location and it's above the metro station! It's in the middle of the city but no problem with the noise, the windows and walls are thick enough to protect you against the heavy city traffic. You can park your car outside the hotel (no charge if it's from 9 pm until 9 am) or in the many secure parking places around the hotel. Friendly staff and great price! (EUR 56 per night, exc breakfast).
