What Travellers Like

The rooms are big enough for two people to manage effectively (although there may be too much furniture in them) and they were reasonably clean. There was some evidence of water damage that had not been completely repaired and there were some aspects of the bathroom that could have been cleaner. The location is absolutely perfect, just a few steps from the Grand Place (and I agree with those whole feel that this is the most dazzling square in Europe). While it is possible to walk from Brussels Central Station, the sidewalks are cobblestoned which presents a challenge for all but the most stable of luggage wheels -- we did, however, successfully make the walk with two large suitcases. A nice breakfast is included in the price. While the hotel is not perfect, it has to be one of the best value propositions in Europe -- superb location, nice hotel, and breakfast all for less than 100 Euros per night.. Read review

An excellent location right in the heart of the city - the Grote Markt is a mere twenty paces away. We had an inner room which was very quiet. I imagine that, given the location, one opening on to the street rather than a light well might be rather different.. Read review

We asked the guy if he had any extra rooms and how much they were. Once we got to our rooms (nice, clean, comfortable with big size bathrooms and all the amenities) we decided to explore the neighborhood just to find out that everything, literary EVERHTING of any importance was just around the corner! The staff was more very friendly, it was like home away from home.
