4I stayed at Hotel du Congres for 2 nights and the overall stay was OK. Actually I think that this hotel is appropriate for short stays.
To begin with the positive things: the staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. I also liked the hotel location. OK, there was not much around, but a restaurant just next door and easy accesible public transportation. The metro is just few meters away. And also coming from the airport was easily done. I found it funny that they didn't ask for any ID at the check-in and when I checked-out I had to remind them that I had to pay for some drinks I took from the reception. The room was clean and warm which I liked very much.
The less good things: In booking the hotel I payed attention to having internet connection as I badly needed it, but once I arrived at the hotel they told me the internet was not working.
The room I had was very small and not that new, but I felt quite good in it. However it was next to the elevator which made it extremely noisy and the walls of these rooms are so thin that you can hear any noise. For example I was hearing my neighbour talking on the phone even with headphones on!
The other thing (quite funny actually) is that I was trying to take the stairs as I didn't like the elevator being very old, very noisy (and bumpy) and very small (I could barely get myself with the luggage in), but I didn't figure out how. I am still wondering if there was a possibility to get out of there using the stairs :-))) The time I tried I came to a dead end where there were actually room's doors and impossible to pass by :-).
Overall I would probably stay there again as the location suited me well. The price plays also an important role.
