Hotel Argus - Brussels, Belgium 

Stayed in this hotel from March 28-April 6 this year in connection with an international conference. Originally I was supposed to arrive on 27th and had to change. A week before I gave the hotel a call and the male receptionist working in the night shift told me "no problem sir". Upon my arrival on 28th, during check in reminded the lady . She also said "no problem". All these days, I was very busy. The trouble started the night before I left. My flight was in very early in the morning and I wanted to pay my bills. The guy could not print your bill without payment. So I paid but when looked at the bill I found the hotel charged me for one extra night. Started arguing but he said to speak to the manager next morning who could fix the problem. Next morning, lady in the morning shift told me "today is Saturday, so manager is not coming". I took a taxi and left for the airport. Upon my return sent an email. I got a response explained in plain language that there was no black and white evidence that I spoke over the phone to the guy to change my schedule. So the hotel could not do anything. This is the way they cheated me. 60-70 Euro is not a big deal but the behaviour is. -

Wir verbrachten 2 Nächte in diesem Hotel,welches sehr nahe der Metro Station LOUISE liegt. Das Check-In war freundlich und zuvorkommenden, die Dame gab uns gute Stadtpläne und Infos über die Stadt. Das Doppelzimmer war sauber und modern eingerichtet, das Bad genügend groß ,es funktionierte alles. Das Frühstück im apart eingerichtetem Raum war kein Buffett sondern wurde persönlich serviert, das Gebäck und die Croissants waren traumhaft frisch, auch Sonntags. Die Koffer durften wir am Abreisetag problemlos bis spätnachmittags im hotel deponieren. Wir können das Hotel um diesen Preis nur empfehlen! Walter und Hermine Schneeweiss, Österreich
