"Comfortable surburban hotel!"

Comfortable and enjoyable hotel and neighborhood. The room was spacious and relatively new - I stayed in an executive room. It contained every ammenity I could need. Across the street is a very nice Italian restaurant (Il Mediterraneo) and a few blocks further is an excellent French restaurant (Le Millord). Breakfast was OK albeit a little pricey. Dinner at the hotel was good and again a little pricey. There is also a supermarket "behind" the hotel. The workout room was new but small. Often the air unit did not work there but the open window worked fine. The hotel staff was VERY friendly and helped arrange for a tour on my free day. Very convienent and cheap (1.5EU) bus transport (#66) from or to downtown (attractions) but if you are going to a local business, you can arrange for their free shuttle. They also will pick you at the airport.

Good hotel, wireless LAN was included in the price (not yet very common in Brussels). At arrival at the airport you give the hotel a short telephone call and they will send you a shuttle car to take you to the hotel (also included in the price!). There are a number of smaller restaurants in the area, but its generally not a very nice part of the city (a kind of suburb exactly in between the airport and down-town). Nevertheless, the direct bus No. 12 to down-town (incl. the EC quarters) may be reached in appr. 10 minutes walk. The hotel itself is quiet, but due its vicinity to the airport, I could here the first flights coming in at 6 a.m.

I was in the hotel for 2 nights, in a business trip. According with the web page, there was a van available at the airport on demand, saving any trouble of initial transportation. The hotel, rooms and personal were correct, as expected. The neighborhood is just ok. It’s near the airport and far from the historical center and the European buildings, but both easily reachable by bus. This hotel offers a very good ratio price-quality, including free internet access in the room. I truly recommend this place.

Firstly, when i arrived at the hotel they wanted to block my card for excess expenditure (which is apprently normal in some hotels.) I think they thought i was a bit 'young' looking so they attempted to fob me off with a twin room when i had ordered a double executive room. I then complained and was rightly placed in the correct room. My stay then was amazing, great bed, bathroom is massive, leather sofa. The twin room was relatively small but the beds looked really comfortable. I highly recommend executive double. Regarding location we had a hire car so we could get around easily so i am not sure about public transport.
