We stayed over the Easter weekend (2008). Staff very efficient, helpful and friendly. Very clean. Ideal location - not too far from the station (about 8 Euros in a taxi) and close to shops / market. The breakast buffet is more than enough to keep the hungriest of little mouths going until lunch, so an ideal place for families with small children (the full english may not be to everyone's taste, but there's plenty of it). Very relaxed and comfortable place to stay. Would definitely recommend.

We decided to take a last minute trip to Brugge with our two young girls (ages 5 & 2.5) during the Christmas holidays. We picked this hotel based on availability (not many vacancies left) and this was one hotel which offered "family accommodations" The hotel is easy walking distance from the city center and the parking lot is right next door -- which isn't always the case in Europe. The reception was friendly, helpful and English-speaking. Our room was small, but had everything we needed for the family. We would stay here again for its location and the price, but next time we will skip breakfast -- The 17Euro breakfast per person did not justify the children's free meals. The menu items were definitely geared towards Brits (read: baked beans and sliced white bread) so maybe it just wasn't to our taste, but the reconstituted eggs were AWFUL! And since there are plenty of pancake houses/creperies/bakeries nearby and open on Sunday, we will opt to go elsewhere for breakfast next time.
