The Hotel Patritius is very well-located in the centre of Brugge.
We found the reception staff friendly and helpful, and were provided with a small local map on registering.
The room, although relatively small, was very clean with a pleasant view, and the bathroom contained a shower, wash basin and toilet (but sadly nowhere to hang clothes).
The hotel has a lift, which is a big bonus if you have lots of luggage.
The breakfasts were very good being a spread of breads, cheese, yoghurt and salami. Fresh eggs, a choice of scrambled or boiled, are offered at breakfast. I chose scrambled, very freshly prepared with a lovely buttery taste.
The only downside to this hotel is the music playing in the lounge area - heavy going chamber music which meant you didn't want to hang around much in the lounge if the weather was bad.

We just returned from a two night stay at this gem of a hotel. Our room here was our favorite during our 2 week vacation in Europe. It was charming, spacious, and the bathroom was huge for European standards. The hotel is located on a quiet street within easy walking distance of the main square. Also has many great restaurants just around the corner, including Rock Fort and Pili Pili. Breakfast is included and is your standard European fare. The staff is courteous and helpful. We would definitely stay here again on any future visits to Bruges.
