This hotel is a smaller town hotel in a big chain. It is well run and has a fine personal touch. Our room was clean and tidy with good fittings and a fine view of the river. The bed was good and although next to a road we slept well. The lift is small but works fine. The bar area and outside seating is very busy and has good views of the river and castle. Breakfast was good. The town has much to offer families and others including the wonderful Castle. We recommend you eat at the Moules (Muscles !! ) restaurant next door. Very good.
