King 1 Hotel - Catania, Italy     

If you dont mind the chambermaid, or was it colonel mustard in the library?? stealing £25 and some batteries from your room, can live with being visited by the occasional cockroach which "must have come from downstairs", aren't too fussed about the awful attempt at breakfast and are a bit of an anorak when it comes to watching prostitutes at work, of which a variety were available just a stones throw from the balcony of an evening, then this is the budget hotel for you. All was not bad, the decor was ok, the standard of cleanliness was better than mediocre too and with wireless internet available after two days of hunting down the wep key from the resident "expert" coupled with A++ air condtioning its starting to look up for the King! The staff were polite and the room was changed after discovery of our visiting friend from downstairs. It would of been better for the offending thief to NOT leave the otherwise locked by us balcony door open after the offence, which was something that continued to happen after the money and batts went missing. Perhaps whoever it was had designs on my laptop?? We wised up! Sicily on the whole was a great place to visit and well worth the trip. Visit Castelmola at Taormina, you will not be dissapointed! Overall: Hotel: 3/10. Sicily: 9/10.
