Location

This moderate-upscale hotel is very convenient if you are traveling by train to/from Antwerp, as it's a two-minute walk across the plaza from the station. The hotel has a modern design throughout, and appeared in fairly good condition. Service at the front desk was excellent, with a great restaurant recommendation, walking directions, and hospitality (The agents spoke perfect English.) The lobby bar was disappointing in terms of its service and comfort. Note that the neighborhood immediately around the hotel isn't family-friendly, but it was safe. The Meir high street was nearby (about 5-10 minutes walk) for shopping. I had a brief one-night stay in this historic city, so I didn't get to fully test out the hotel, but would recommend it as a very easy stopping point and good value.

The hotel has a very good location, definetely as we arrived by train in the amazing Central Station of Antwerp. The rooms were lovely and recently renovated. The beds were really great. We enjoyed very much the special promotion for internet and movie on demand. I have never stayed in a city hotel with such a big fitness club (complimentary). Also relaxing in the pool and sauna were top. Just before leaving we had a great breakfast with really a big variety, friendly staff and nice view at the Central Station. We will definetely book again!
