Devere Hotel - Sydney, Australia

Booked a Family Apartment for the four of us for 4 nights. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone. The room is very spacious with a little kitchentte with microwave, toaster, mini fridge and tea/coffee making facility. Room is clean and looks like it is newly refurbished. Within 2 minutes walk to King's Cross Station, and about 15 mins walk to the city center. Given the price paid, great bargain at a good location. Note: Not comparing this to a 5 star hotel. Comments based on price paid.

This is a great little Hotel, in a great location, just down the hill from Kings Cross Station (5 minutes easy walk). My room was small, but hey,it was a single room, and with a lovely view of the harbour!! Staff were extra friendly and helpful, road/traffic noise was not an issue, and with a bus stop AT THE FRONT door, getting to/from anywhere couldn't be easier ! Will happily book and stay again, I enjoyed De Vere!! Thanks

we stayed at the Devere for 4 nights and had booked a "superior" room...we checked in late, 9 pm and the room we got was unquestionably small...we could not both be up and moving at the same time. The next morning we complained and got a very nice large room with a kitchenette. The floor was designated as non smoking but reeked of smoke??...the front desk women were really nice and helpful. All in all great location to transportation and a really quaint area, even though part of the red light district. No complaints...
