Maze Backpackers details: Maze Backpackers Hostel is located in central Sydney, Australia between Goulburn and Campbell Streets. Central Station stands a short distance from the hostel, and complimentary shuttle service, depending on length of stay, is provided to and from Kingsford Smith International Airport.
The Maze Backpacker Hostel provides complimentary beach barbecues, wine and cheese nights, career assistance, Internet access and use of a pool table and games. Movie marathons are presented one evening a week. The hostel also sponsors guided tours from Bondi to Coogee Beach and regularly scheduled pub crawls. A communal kitchen and guest laundry facilities are on site. Property amenities include 24-hour reception services, tour assistance and storage lockers.

Guestroom configurations range from single and double room occupancy, to two- through eight-person bunk bed dormitories. Room décor features vibrantly colored draperies and bedspreads that add personality to neutral-colored walls and floors.

Travel information

From Sydney Central Train Station / Interstate Bus Terminal:
It is only a 5 minute walk to Maze Backpackers hostel:
*Exit onto corner of Eddy Avenue and Pitt Street, Sydney.
* Turn right onto Pitt Street and walk towards the City.
* We are 2 blocks down on the left hand side of the road.

From Sydney Airport:
Shuttle Bus:
* Cost is AUD 12 one way.
* Pick-up is FREE if you have booked 3 or more night's accommodation with us! **
* Our driver will come and pick you up and take you directly to our front door.
* Simply call us on our Freecall Number on arrival: 1800 813 522 and we'll sort out the rest. We'll be asking you what you're wearing, just so it's easier for our drivers to come & find you!
* After you have called us, this is where you will need to stand so the driver can find you:
* INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL: Wait at The Meeting Point which is located on the ground floor of the Arrival section. It's a big blue wall with seats in front of it. "The Meeting Point" is displayed in large orange writing. It's situated right in front of a Currency Exchange booth & is closest to the Arrival North section. If you are at the Meeting Point near the McDonalds then you are in the WRONG PLACE.
* DOMESTIC TERMINAL: For both Qantas & Virgin domestic terminals, go to Baggage Claim Carousel # 5 after you have collected your luggage and wait there next to the carousel and make sure you are inside the terminal. Our drivers should be there within 15-20 minutes. Please be patient during peak-hour times - the sydney roads are chockas full of traffic!

**Our shuttle bus operates between 4.55am - 9.00pm. If you arrive into Sydney outside these times, call our Reception staff on 1800 813 522 to get quick and easy advice on your cheapest transport options.

By Car:
* Get onto Pitt Street, which is one of the major roads in Sydney (runs parallel to George Street).
* We are located at the Central Station end of Pitt Street (between Goulburn & Campbell Streets).
* There is no direct parking at The Maze, but there's a few secure parking stations nearby. Try 36 Campbell Street – there's a carpark there open from 8am to Midnight. Cost is AUD 5 per hour Mon - Fri. Max AUD 20 per day. Weekends & Public Holidays AUD 5 per hour with a Max of AUD 15 per day.
* Discounted Parking - located off the laneway just a few shops down from our front door, opposite 7-11. Drive down this laneway, then take your first left. You will then see the carpark! Normally AUD 25 per day, a stamped MAZE ticket will get you a reduced rate of AUD 20 per day during the week and AUD 10 on weekends.
