Arrived at the Rendezvous Stafford late at night with the plane buzz still in our ears, but just one look out of our room window, our tiredness vanished. The location of this hotel is fantastic, just a few minutes walk from Circular Quay. We knew it was on The Rocks, but didn't expect such a fantastic location.. Read review

Friendly staff they allowed us to have late check out at no extra charge, there is an internet to use which was handy and the breakfast surpassed expectation. This hotel is a little pricey (approx £120 per night in Nov/Dec 05) but you are paying for the location and view - from our room we had a superb view of the Opera house and to our left we had a great view of most of the bridge, well worth the extra money. If I was being really critical I would say that I am sure they mentioned a roof terrace when I booked - something I never actually found which is strange for a small hotel and that the windows could do with double glazing to keep the noise out at night but I suppose that is the kind of thing you should expect from a major city.. Ask for room 609 or 610 if you have the extra money to stay in a penthouse room. It is worth the extra money - the view is amazing and you won't find a better hotel with this view for the price.. Read review

We arrived in Sydney on a very early flight and emailed ahead to ask if our room could be ready early. They said they would do their best - and their best was excellent because they allowed us into our room at 8. The staff could not have been better, more charming and enthusiastic, the room was spotless and the breakfast buffet is all you need.. Read review

This hotel is also walking distance to The Sydney Harbor Bridge, The Sydney Opera House, Circular Quay (the central ferry station) and a train Station. It is also walking distance to the Bus Stops for the beginning of the Sydney Explorer and Bondi Explorer buses. Our room was a nice size with a big, fully stocked kitchenette. The staff was very attentive and helpful.
