Fiuggi is one of the most important Italian thermal resorts, where Pope Boniface VIII and Michelangelo used to go.The thermal complex lies downhill surrounded by chestnut, oak and pine woods. It is made of 2 hydrothermal springs: the Boniface VIII and the Anticolana.

A simple hotel about 50km from Rome - extremely clean with wonderfully helpful and friendly staff.
Situated close to the town centre and only a few minutes walk from the bus terminal. There are direct (non-stop) buses running to/from the centre of Rome throughout the day with journey times of about 1 hour 15 minutes.
Fiuggi has plenty of interesting small shops to browse through, the ancient part of the town is very quaint and there is a spa where you can sample the local healing waters.
