Hotel Taodomus - Taormina, Italy     

We recently stayed at the Taodomus Hotel in Taormina Sicily and had a wonderful experience. Even though the hotel is a little difficult to find, it is on Corso Umberto which is a pedistrian only area, the local people were happy to help with directions and parking was in a parking garage which was walking distance, even with luggage. The parking was also validated by the hotel for a reasonable discounted rate. The location turned out to be the highlight of our stay. The shopping/ restaunants/ and historical sights were right outside our door. A complimentary breakfast was served on the top floor with a view of Mt. Etna. The staff was friendly, helpful and very willing to answer any questions and help with internet hookups at the hotel. It was an excellent hotel stay in a beautiful city.

Have just returned from a week at Hotel Taodomus, Taormina and what a great place, would recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful jewell in the crown of Sicily. It is very hot in June so the comfort, airconditioning and excellent service from Olga and her staff made the stay thoroughly enjoyable. Light sleepers should book the rooms away from Corso Umberto . The hotel is small and beautifully run - right in the town so handy for restaurants and everything is within walking distance. Taomina is a romantic and wonderful place to go to but would avoid the hottest time.
