We just returned from Lindner Hotel am Belvedere. It is a nice, modern hotel with good sized rooms, having all the amenities. At the check-in, we were informed that the reservation we made was for 2 rooms, which was not true. This was resolved immediately, however, by a not so friendly receptionist...(the staff overall was not so friendly, except one or two persons in the breakfast room). Breakfast was very nice, with a good variety and quality. My son who didn' t eat almost anything in vienna, he enjoyed breakfast very much. The hotel, although, not very centrally located is close to the Rennweg S station (very convenient for the airport) and a tram (71) station. Overall, it was a good experience!!

My stay at the Linder was fantastic. The hotel is new and clean and stylishly decorated. The room was a great size and quiet too. It's in a good location too, minutes walk from Schwartzenberger Platz and from Renn Weg trainstation (one stop to Wien Mitte and direct train to the airport) The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the breakfast was great too - worth the money if it's not included in your room rate. It is right next door to the Belvedere, which if you have time is worth a visit, even if it's just to walk around the gardens. I can't recommend this hotel enough
