City Centre, Museum Area, Old Town

Major tourist attractions include the imperial palaces of the Hofburg and Schönbrunn (also home to the world's oldest zoo, Tiergarten Schönbrunn) and the Riesenrad in the Prater. Cultural highlights include the Burgtheater, the Wiener Staatsoper, the Lipizzaner horses at the Spanish Riding School and the Vienna Boys' Choir, as well as excursions to Vienna's Heuriger districts.

There are also a number of art galleries, such as the Albertina, Belvedere, Museumsquartier, KunstHausWien and BA-CA Kunstforum. Popular museums include the museums in the Hofburg, the twin Kunsthistorisches Museum and Naturhistorisches Museum and the Technisches Museum, each of which receives over 250,000 visitors per year [6].

Sites associated with the many composers who lived in Vienna are also popular, such as Beethoven's various residences and St. Marx cemetery, Mozart's final resting place. Vienna's many churches also draw large crowds, the most famous of which are St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Deutschordenskirche, the Jesuitenkirche, the Karlskirche, the Peterskirche, Maria am Gestade, the Minoritenkirche, the Ruprechtskirche, the Schottenkirche and the Votivkirche.

The Graben Hotel is a classic European hotel: small rooms without any frills. That being said, the location is excellent, everything was clean, and the price was quite reasonable. Location: The hotel is located in the central shopping district which is essentially an extremely large outdoor mall. Almost all of the major tourist attractions are within walking distance. For those going to concerts, the State Opera is about a 5 minute walk away, and the Musikverein is 10 minutes. If you arrive to the city by air, there is a train that runs between the Air Port and the City Air Train Terminal without making any other stops; the hotel is within walking distance with luggage to that train station. Hotel: While my room was small, everything was very clean. It looked like the bathroom had been completely redone in the last 5 years or so, so it was in excellent shape. Breakfast: Standard European menu. There's a restaurant in the hotel, but I never tried it. Overall, I would stay at the Graben again and recommend it to others.
