I stayed here for my birthday weekend and was absolutely delighted by the service i received and the overall environment of the hotel! The lady at the front desk actually sent a bottle of wine with a birthday note to my room. The evening wine reception was a great opportunity to converse with people from all over the world. I can't wait to visit this property again!

The Hotel Union Square is a rare gem in the heart of San Francisco. I selected the hotel in October 2007 for a short stayover on my way to Hong Kong. It was nice, small, friendly and very clean. It needed some renovations, but still I was very satisfied. I completed an online survey of the hotel and received a note back from the owner telling me of the renovation plans and inviting me back at a discount. I returned in May 2008 and it was fabulous, newly remodeled top to bottom, incredible staff, great new decor and a complimentary bottle of wine!!! Very competitive rates and a really good deal. I will always return to this hotel when in my favorite city. Don't wait, make a reservation!!!!
