Norida Beach Hotel - Kardamaina, Greece 

We stayed at Norida beach last summer 2 adults and 2 kids. Kids loved the hotel especially the slides. Notice that the complex consists of 3 hotels CHOOSE Norida beach the other two are located uphill and you wouldn't enjoy walking up and down the hill at 37C. Also ask for a room with sea view, do not accept a room at the rear side. The food is above average and that includes the Chinese restaurant but the quality of the beverages offered throughout the day is really poor. Additionally the air conditioning is insufficient at the restaurants, choose the balcony or stay close to a window. Kids loved the ice-cream and hot-dogs available all through the day. Pools are filled with sea water mixed with chorion and is impossible to bear it on your eyes. You should also avoid the main pool, there is no overflow and water surface is always filthy. Paddles and canoes are free so get one and go away from the crowd, the sea is beautiful. If you choose Norida beach, avoid the pool, get your drinks and water from the store opposite the hotel entrance, enjoy your food on the balcony and exploit the sea you will get a fair package.

After reading the reviews I got very worried about staying at the Norida with my two children (11+10) but I need,nt of. Although the hotel rooms are basic, the grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. I even only got bit 3times which is good for me. I recommend Vitimin B, to keep tham at bay.The only down side to the complex was having to climb a steep hill to our rooms but at least there were cool drinks in the frige to refresh us. The kids loved the slides (chlorine) but a shame no sunbeds to sunbathe. The other two pools are sea water which stung my kids skin. We spent most of our time at the beach where there was a nice breeze to cool down the 44*! Entertainment waspretty good and what you would expect but better than some I have seen. The Michael Jackson show was good. I recommend you get a table early. All staff are friendly and try to involve guests in games. The food was a bit repetative after the second day and if you go down late, things run short+ don't get replaced. Bacon was only out one day for breakfast. If you sit outside watch for the birds!! They are rather friendly.Kids ice-cream is a pain as it is only situated in the main bar area. My 2 couldn't be bothered to go for it. Overall I enjoyed it and lots of people were on their 2nd+3rd visits which must count for something. I wouldn't say it was a 5*. Maybe 3/4*. Would I go back? Yes, only in early season.
