Standing in a quiet park of Annecy, close to everything that makes the town so charming and well-known, our hotel is well located for all your outings: a short walk from the station, the famous Annecy lake and the old town which you can reach along the Thiou canal. For your well being, we offer 75 large rooms including 30 with a balcony. All the rooms are completely equipped with quality bedding, en-suite bathroom (with hairdryer and toilet), cable tv (27 Channels plus Canal +) and courtesy tray, direct dial, a modem plug and a private safe. To start the day, why not enjoy our copious serve-yourself buffet breakfast, served in the restaurant from 6.30Am to 11Am ! You can leave your car in our private garage ( 7.5 ) or in the public parking front of the hotel (free between 19h to 9h00 and the sunday) or we can offer you a free place in a public garage between 18h30 till 9h - ask the reception. A new service : free internet access in all rooms with wifi.

We were booked into the Kyriad Hotel in Annecy but when we arrived they claimed the room was unavailable due to a technical problem. However, they had booked us into the Mandallaz which has an extra star at no extra cost. Room was big with a reasonable basthroom and a balcony overlooking a rather plain square. Was about 10/15 minute stroll from town centre. Given what we paid, was very pleased with hotel.

Situated close to the railway and bus stations, the Comfort Hotel offers no frills but decent value. The rooms have little in the way of views, but Old Annecy is only 10 minutes away on a path along the river bank - and Old Annecy has a lot to offer! It is a pity the hotel serves only breakfast - which is very good. There are restaurants nearby, but to have a decent choice you need to go into town. The hotel bar is small, but stays open late - for more authenticity try the pub on the corner - definitely no frills! Reception staff were particularly helpful, and were happy to call taxis and, in one case, find a dentist. Some signs have the hotel as 2*, some say 3*. 2* is more accurate, and the room rates reflect that. If you don't mind the walk into town, this hotel should serve most needs.
