We had a week at this hotel and were very pleased with it, The location is great, just a few yards up from the Croisette and next to the Carlton hotel. Also an easy walk to the Rue d'Antibes where we had breakfast at either the bakers or one of the many cafes at a cost of 4.50 - 10 euros, depending on whether you had fruit or an omlette. The hotel breakfast at 20 euros is overpriced. The weather was mixed so we did not go on to the private beach at a cost of 14 euros per day. The hotel has a small plunge pool, with loungers but it is in the shade from mid-morning - ok if it is very hot. We had one snack in the hotel - don't! We found a local restaurant, just round in Rue Pasteur, which did a very pleasant diner if you were not looking for gourmet food. Hotel staff were excellent - my sister left her passport in the safe, which we only discovered when we were checking in at Nice airport. They sent it by taxi and we managed to catch the plane.

Just to warn people, this is lik a 2** hotel with 5***** prices. The location is very good but if you like nice hotels then this is not the one for you. The pool area is dirty and in need of repair and there are only 6 sun loungers. The staff struggled to understan english, our problems were not rectified after constand reminders. Drinks were on average 14Euros each. The beach is beautiful but we had a shock on check-out when we discovered we had to pay 14Euros each per day to use the hotels private beach, we were not informed of this when booking. The only thing it has going for it is location but there are nicer hoels in the area!!!
