Parkhotel Atlantic - Heidelberg, Germany     

I would recommend this location in a heartbeat!! The most significant benefit, for us, was the location set back amidst trails and trees on a winding road behind the Schloss; while a little difficult for us to find at first, all of that stress melted away when we arrived. The location is beautiful, serene, and quite, while the rooms are very spacious with amazing views. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was amazingly friendly and welcoming. Despite acting as a respite from the main square, it's only about a 15-20 minute easy and beautiful walk to everything possible in Heidelberg. During our stay at the end of May, there were only some other German toursists there--fabulous, really. This is my favorite hotel of our entire Bavarian trip and is a really nice value

From the gorgeous winding drive incorporating Heidelberg and it's stunning castle, to the attractive entry courtyard and courteous helpful staff, our stay at the Parkhotel Atlantic was a joy from start to finish. The room was large and clean with huge closets, bathroom had wonderful deep tub. Breakfast was delicious and provided magnificent views. Parking and breakfast were included and I wish we had been able to stay longer. Will definitely be returning.
