We stayed at this hotel in April. One of us was on business and the other was being a tourist. We were pleased that this hotel actually felt like like a four star hotel (unlike the hotel we stayed at in Paris).
Room was small but the layout was practical. It was spotlessly clean and it was nice to have a modern bathroom. There is a shower but not bath tub, which was not a big deal to me. It was environmentally conscious to have those liquid soap dispensers instead of little bottles of soap and shampoo. Mattress was comfortable and the duvet and pillow were very comfortable and good quality. There is even a pillow menu so if you're not happy with a soft pillow, you can pick a firm one.
if you sleep past noon, the maid will not clean the room, they leave a little note that you have to call the front desk to get towels or other supplies that you need.
There was one computer terminal in the lobby to use internet at, it was fairly expensive, I think about 11 euros for 30 min? If you bring your own laptop, there is wireless internet, and its a cheaper rate to get it for 24 hours. You can request this at the desk.
Buffet breakfast was 20 euros, which might have sounded expensive, but well worth it. Great selection of breads, meats, cheese, fruits, dairy products, you can even squeeze your own orange juice. I liked the pickled herring, that was something different.
everyone at the front desk and all the waiters, room service etc spoke excellent English. the hotel was reasonably quiet.
As other guests have mentioned, this hotel is on the highway, and the bus stop is a 5 minute walk away. The front desk can give you a bus map into the town and buses come every 15-20 minutes. bus 33 goes downtown and to the old town. It even goes to the zoo!
Bus drivers don't necessarily speak english but it is pretty obvious where to get off (there's a sign in the bus which tells you what stop is next). if you take a cab into town it will cost around 10-15 euros. my only advice with the bus would be avoid taking it at around 9-10 AM as it will be crowded with kids from the school.
Overall, I was quite pleased with this hotel. If you'd rather stay in town thats fine, but I was happy to avoid being woken up by church bells going off every hour in the morning (in the old part of town). If you're travelling on business related to SAP, there is a shuttle that can be booked from the hotel to SAP in Walldorf and back, as well as a shuttle from the hotel to the airport.

Ok place. We stayed here in the Fall of 2007 on our trip through Germany. Typical Holiday Inn express with nothing fancy just a place to rest.
Positives:
-Not much.
Negatives:
-Room was hot and couldn't get it to cool down. Gym was horrible with no weights. Breakfast was very expensive!!!!
