3Think IBIS and add some space and amenties, then you can picture the Suitehotel.
We took the S-bahn 2 from the airport to Praterstern, then decided to walk as the weather was great and we needed to stretch our legs after the flight. We later determined that it would have been very easy to transfer to the U-bahn and ride one station to arrive within 2 blocks of the hotel. Both the Praterstern and Vorgartenstrasse stations had elevators and if you come up at the western end of the V station, you are just 2 blocks from the hotel. As mentioned by previous poster, not as easy to get to Sud bahnhof as the U-bahn takes you to within a few blocks, then outside through construction to the trains.
Staff was helpful and efficient.
Free internet in lobby, but always occupied, and charge to use wifi.
Bed basic foam with uncomfortable small pillow. I put one from the daybed under mine to help. Odd but decent variety of blinds and shades to block light so we could nap when early check in.
We seemed to have a/c though the other poster said it was not turned on yet. Maybe it was just fan and the outside temp OK. It was overcast when we were there.
Airline toilet room is a good description. Our shower/bath/sink room had sort of swinging doors. There were some movable screens if you wanted to separate the living from sleeping area.
Felt sort of temporary with the TV and small table on wheels, but that was functional. Kettle, frig and microwave with grocery nearby. Nonsmoking room was clean and fresh.
Neighborhood was quiet at night. Lots of offices in the area. Some redevelopment of railyards in progress.
So, to me it met the clean, safe, nonsmoking basic requirements for a 2*. We booked on their website for a nonchangeable nonrefundable E69 rate during June and the football.
