Hotel advertised wi-fi in rooms, but this was not the case. Quite inconvenient, as I was travelling on business and had a lot of work to do in the evenings. I understand you could access it in the bar or lobby, but repeated attempts failed to get me a connection. Overall, location seems good (I did not get the chance to see the city, due to work commitments), and there is a parking garage situated 5 minutes away. The hotel bar does a basic menu, which served it's purpose, and was quite cheap. There are a couple of small supermarkets nearby too, which was handy for getting a few beers! Large room, with separate "living room" comprising of sink, electric hob, table and chairs, and sofa. Quite nice, as I was staying for three nights. Overall, clean and tidy, although the decor in the room was a little old-fashioned. Not bad for the price though. Staff were friendly and very helpful, and all spoke good English.

The Theaterhotel is well located in Josefstadt away from the tourist hustle and on the Stra?enbahn "J" line, by which it is only about 6 or 7 minutes to Karlsplatz/Staatsoper. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast excellent, but my room was quite small. All in all, a decent value for the price.

We like this place better the longer we stayed. The style seems a little dated but the rooms are all suites and huge and very clean. Our room was so big, we had our 2 friends stay with us as well on the pull out sofa. The staff really turned us around. They we're all super pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is big. The location seemed weird at first but turned out we were ~2 blocks from the Rathaus & underground station and on the J tramline. Taxi from Westbanhof, if you're coming from Munich, was expensive. The subway is easy U3 to U2. Sudbanhof is much farther away, if you're coming from Prague, and requires a regional ride too. Most guests seemed to be seasoned travelers. It was a 15 min walk to the Hofburg and Museums Quartier. MariahilferStr & markets on Linke Wienzelle and restaurants and nightlife between is where we want to be next time. We would stay here again but not our first choice because of location.
