The Hotel Nordbahn is was a very pleasant surprise as i booked through Otel.com for a bargain rate. Not only was the room clean, spacious and quiet (our room was at the back of the hotel), but the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I didn't buy a guide to Vienna before I left England but the people at the desk were keen to fill in the gaps and lend a hand wherever possible. On top of this there is free internet access, sauna and a gym within the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family travelling to Vienna.

We have just returned from a three day trip to Vienna - great city, nice people, we really loved it and the good overall feeling was partly caused by Nordbahn hotel. Booked for a bargain on [--] it turned out to be great value for the money, quiet (room 262), clean with great breakfast; also it's worth mentioning - the room was daily spotless cleaned. On the downside - do not expect large rooms, in fact it's quite small, making difficult to cross the room with the bathroom door open. By the time I made the booking (april) the parking area was free of charge (a big plus) but the policy has been changed with a fee of 10 euro a day. All in all a pleasant staying, surely recommended for the price!
