Apartments are decent size with good fixtures etc, location is ideal

I booked my parents and my brother and I into this apartment complex in Vienna and it worked out just fine. Two superior apartments which were both of a decent size. Quite large by European standards in fact. Both with big TVs, stereo and kitchen facilities. In fairness all the TV was in German so not much use! The Hotel is a short walk from the tramway and also from the underground railway connecting to the airport. It’s about ?35 in a taxi but quicker by train - oh and they have the honours system in Austria which means public transport is free, ahaha. Breakfast wasn't up to much if memory serves but you could make use of the kitchen to cook up something decent with stores nearby selling produce. Bedding was a slat bed and a pull out slat so two separate rooms in effect. They could do with black out curtains however. I'd recommend this place, it was big, convenient, quiet with nice fixtures etc, plus check in staff are really cool, let you use their internet etc. For reference the Rathaus is about 10mins slow walk away.

The hotel looked good on the web but all the rooms they show on the web must be the "superior" rooms. Our room was up 3 flights of scary stairs (Elavator was broken or guests were not allowed access). It wasn't really a hotel room but an apartment that was suitable for longer term business stays. It had 2 tiny bedrooms, kitchenette, couch etc. We did not recieve any maid service during our stay. The bathroom was in need of some updating and had a bug problem. The breakfast was disappointing and the breakfast room was too crowded at times. The front desk was not always staffed and had a bit of an attitude. Parking was a problem but seems to be a problem in Vienna not just this hotel. All in all it was okay but they were lacking in some basic services.

Perfect Holiday

I have stayed at this hotel for 6 nights after having trouble finding more cental hotels. I was kind of woried due to many controversial reviews. Finally, this hotel choice made my vacation perfect. Nicely decorated rooms, basic breakfast but enough to start your day. We could get free coffee or tea in our room at anytime which was very convenient. It is very close to Rathaus Christmas market and not very far from the subway. Even though this hotel was my last resort, it ended up being a nice cozy place. Of course, I am talking about the superior appartments because I know the standard ones are very basic. Trust me and stay there! I am demanding person and I was absolutely satisfied. Peter
