It is very much appreciated because of its familiar, comfortable and distinguished atmosphere. In front of our house there is also the bus station of the airport bus. The transfer to and from the airport is every 30 minutes.

We thought the location of the hotel is good so booked 2 nights for our brief stay in Vienna. Turned out that it is located in a rough area of the city. The lobby is tiny. No air conditioning, so we had to open the windows, which is facing an inner court with no air flow . So. we almost suffocated, while the mosquitoes of all sizes kept coming in. Could not sleep at all for the whole night as there are fleas on the stained linens which make us itchy. Asked for a fan and was told there is only one broken fan in the hotel with the blades falling off any second. Minimum decor, no amenities, dark hallway and room. Breakfast with dehydrated breads and moist deli. I almost checked-out on the first night if it was not 3am in the morning by the time we arrived! This yucky hotel still costed us EUR 145 a night! So, we insisted to check out on our second day and moved to the centrally located intercontinental, whcih is only EUR70 more.
