The location and staff was wonderful! Everyone was very helpful! We reserved the 2 bed room, 2 bathroom apartment, it was spacious and fit all our needs. I highly recommend Apartments Riemergasse.

My wife and I and six of our friends descended upon the Apartement Riemergasse for three nights over Easter weekend. We had reserved two apartments with two bedrooms each. However, on check-in, we learned that there had been some confusion and we had instead been given one apartment for four people and two individual apartments. No problem, we thought. However... the larger apartment created a bit of an issue. It could sleep four as promised, but the beds were comprised of a double and a twin IN THE SAME ROOM and a twin in the living room. Not an ideal arrangement for two couples... But the staff was helpful and gracious and it all was sorted out in a matter of minutes. When the dust settled, each of the four couples wound up with an individual apartment - for the same price as if we had shared two as originally booked. The apartments were simply fantastic. The units comprising the entire top floor of the building had been renovated in early 2007. That means that everything is new, modern and spotlessly clean. We felt as if we were the first ones to have stayed there... (we were in number 23). Each apartment has a kitchenette with a stovetop, small refrigerator, sink and all the pots, dishes, silverware and glassware you would need. Used dishes left in the sink would be washed and returned to the cabinets with the daily maid service. The room design is contemporary, but is comfortable and inviting given the furnishing and paint color choices. The bathroom is of decent size, and features a shower/bathtub combo. The building housing the apartments is mixed use, so there were private flats as well as office space. This never presented an issue as we only overlapped with a resident on one occasion. The building is clean and well maintained, and has a beautiful interior stairwell and an old-fashioned elevator. The location is ideal as it is only a short walk from most of the sites in the city center. Having a staffed office for the apartments was a nice - if unexpected - surprise. The staff was helpful, giving suggestions for sites, providing area maps and brochures and called to make dinner reservations on our behalf. (I would recommend arranging car service from the airport via the Apartements staff - it is a value at EUR 55 and the car was clean and the driver knowledgeable of the city.) Were it not for the hiccup over the reservation, I would have given the Apartements Riemergasse a solid five-out-of-five. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and colleagues, and would stay there again in a heartbeat should we find ourselves back in Vienna.
