Clean, quiet and economical but basic hotel. Good location and very friendly staff. The tram is right outside the hotel and comes along every 2-3 minutes. Comfortable beds.

We stayed here for 4 days in Feb '07 and it cost us about £40/night, which was fair. The location was good for trams and the underground to the city centre (which took 5-10 mins), though the centre was within walking distance, the reception staff spoke Engligh, breakfast was nice, the bathroom was new and the room was clean. Our room was a bit of an odd shape (208), and facing the road, which wasnt too noisy with the windows shut. The only disappointing things were (1) the heating - our room was boiling for the whole stay, and opening the windows made it just too noisy, (2) there was no remote with the TV (but only one channel in English, so didnt really matter), and (3) the TV balanced on an old fridge which wobbled if you went near it and didnt seem to chill anything. We wouldnt rush to stay here again, but we were perfectly satisfied with our stay.
