"Excellent Value in an expensive city"Posted: Mon, Nov 23 2009Value:
3I stayed here last Christmas, as part of a tour through Central Europe with my boyfriend and his parents. The hotel itself was clean and modern, the art was certainly novelty! The room was lvoely, we had an economy standard room and did not feel the need to upgrade, the bathroom was clean and bright. Certainly we didn't have a problem with noise, as some reviewers did, so perhaps we were lucky in that respect. The hotel is far from the town, but not so if you use the metro system, and to be honest, we chose to stay a bit further out, but somewhere cheaper. We did not feel the neighbourhood was unsafe at all. The breakfast was very nice, we felt it was of a higher standard than we were expecting from the class of hotel. The only problem we did have was we found it very hard to find from the metro station as we did not know it had the other name 'Reichshof' we had booked at the 'Kunsthof' and spent a good while trying to find the hotel. The other downside was being a bit further out fo town, it was harder to find good places to eat, but they were there if you looked, as well as some nice pubs.
