It was the guest house of Emperor Franz Josef and, where the rooms have not been renovated, you can stil get the feel of the elegance of that time. I nearly always stayed in room 379 which is, I will admit, showing its age and, if they have not already done so, wil probably be receiving the Austria Trend renovation. I loved the former ballroom (now restaurant) with its magnificent chandeliers and the elegant public rooms. Yes, breakfast was a bit chaotic and occasionaly hit and miss but the friendly staff and the unique charm of this place kept me going back time and again.. Read review

The staff was very professional and courteous. Our room was very clean and cleaned thoroughly daily. It is only a 10-15 minute subway ride to the city center and museums. The public transportation is excellent and the subway trams arrive usually every five minutes.. Read review

I never left my camera or expensive items in the room so I didn't have any problem with theft! The great benifit of this hotel is free internet access from the computer at the front desk and good food. It it less than 5 min walk to the metro station which will get you to the city center in 15 min.. Read review

There are some amazing deals on the net for the same price as some awful central vienna hotels. The pool is really nice and the breakfast buffet is great - you get viennese cakes and everything! Although its not central the location is actually really nice - the parks of the schonbrun palace across the road are so lovely and you can explore them for free. In addition, there's a great beerhall/restaurant round the corner serving huge portions of ribs and schnitzel for bargain basement prices.
Bon d'abord ce qui impressionne le plus c'est le Lobby. Evidemment c'est très élégant, classe et spacieux. Le personnel est compétent, agréable, et très serviable.
En ce qui concerne la chambre, j'étais heureux de constater qu elle était vraiment grande. Une jolie vue, un confort bien au dessus de la moyenne. La salle de petit déjeuner servant aussi à l'organisation de bals pendant la saison, on ne peut être que très impressioné.
Pas de mauvaises surprises donc allez -y!
