This place is quite a find if you're on a budget. There are some amazing deals on the net for the same price as some awful central vienna hotels. Yes its a bit faded around the edges but it still has charm especially the impressive lobby. The pool is really nice and the breakfast buffet is great - you get viennese cakes and everything! Although its not central the location is actually really nice - the parks of the schonbrun palace across the road are so lovely and you can explore them for free. In addition, there's a great beerhall/restaurant round the corner serving huge portions of ribs and schnitzel for bargain basement prices.

Bon d'abord ce qui impressionne le plus c'est le Lobby. Evidemment c'est très élégant, classe et spacieux. Le personnel est compétent, agréable, et très serviable. En ce qui concerne la chambre, j'étais heureux de constater qu elle était vraiment grande. Une jolie vue, un confort bien au dessus de la moyenne. La salle de petit déjeuner servant aussi à l'organisation de bals pendant la saison, on ne peut être que très impressioné. Pas de mauvaises surprises donc allez -y!

I have stayed in many hotels in Europe and this one is just fine. Yes, it could use some updates....like a new lift but the room was clean. I never left my camera or expensive items in the room so I didn't have any problem with theft! The great benifit of this hotel is free internet access from the computer at the front desk and good food. For breakfast there are many options to fit all food needs. It it less than 5 min walk to the metro station which will get you to the city center in 15 min. The hotel staff are quite friendly. Be advised there is no A/C.
