What Travellers Like

The hotel is not located in the city center but it is only 2 blocks from Keplerplatz metro station on U1 line. The city center is then only 3 metro stops away. The metro in Vienna runs very frequently, user-friendly and extremely reliable, so getting to and from the city center (even at late hours) was no problem. A group of high school students arrived at the same time we did and the staff made sure that our room was in a quiet part of the building away from the group. The room is average size with a mini bar and TV (many German and Austrian channels). The bathroom is good-sized, clean and a hair dryer is provided.. Read review

Our first room was a large triple room that was facing the gardens. There was one fan to cool the 2 rooms which was not adequate. Aside from this - the only negative point - the location was fanastic with 2 metro stations within a 3 minute walk and both were on different lines. The staff were also very helpful and the breakfast does really help when your out all day or have early starts.. Read review

No air conditioning (most of the European hotels without air-conditioning, I don't know how hot it will be in a very hot summer), but those days the weather was cool enough for us to open half window and had a very good sleep. The room is very clean and big enough for two people. The location is a little bit quiet but safe. It only take us less than 5 minutes from South train station to the hotel (door to door). Walk across the street (a street with shopping shops and resturtants, but they close at 7pm, but there are two Japanese /Chinese resturtants close at 11pm) around 5 minutes can get to the tram station, and only 7-10 minutes to tourist center.. Be aware that the Strassenbahn is safe and affordable so the location of the hotel should not be a problem for you. Our room on the 6th floor was big and clean with lots of storage space. The neighborhood where the hotel is located should be avoided at all costs: sex shops line the street. The only place of interest is located across the street some 100meters to the left when exiting the hotel: you'll find a big shopping center at the end of a big plaza where affordable and nice restaurants will serve food until 9:30pm: convenient on your first day.. Excellent value city hotel, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with very attentive staff. Although on the outskirts it is in a great location, just a couple of minutes from Keplarplatz U-Bahn station ( line 1 ) and ideal for the city centre which is a just a few minutes away.. Read review
