The hotel is in a superb location in the centre of Vienna, just off Karntner Str. and around the corner from the main cathedral, Stephansdom. Most key tourism goals are either a walk or short subway ride away. My husband and I spent a week over New Years in the hotel and experienced a very comfortable stay with the friendliest, most service oriented staff I've experienced in years. Indeed, they clearly have good connections to all cultural facilities, even for New Years concerts! The rooms are large with comfortable bathrooms, and even though are rooms were to the street, we heard no noise, with the exception of the garbage collectors after the New Years party in the city right next door! Breakfast was fine, though the offer was a wee bit limited for our taste, as we would have preferred a slightly broader choice. We had a simply fantastic stay.
