Hotel Stefanie - Vienna, Austria 

Unassumingly beautiful

I would like to start by saying that Vienna is one of the most beautiful & friendly cities that I have visited across all continents. This pleasure was compounded by our 3 night stay at the Stefanie which had some of the friendliest and most efficient staff I have come across even in comparison with some well known luxury hotels. Despite having a 3 year old in tow, my wife & I found the property ideally located within a 5 minute walking reach of the subway and the street cars yet away from the noise & bustle of the city. While there is much praise that we can heap all around, the 2 outstanding features for us were their lavish complimentary breakfast spread (which included a variety of fruits, pastries, meats & cheese & a bubbly to boot!) & the size of their bathrooms. Unlike normal European hotel bathrooms which are little more than holes in the wall, the Stefanie had a fully equipped, bright, clean and spacious one. Vienna is definitely on our future holiday plans & we would choose none other than the Stefanie as our host.

Our stay here was really very enjoyable. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the buffet is excellent and the location really close to everything. We definitely recommend it!

Hotel Stefanie Disappointment

We stayed at the Hotel Stefanie for 4 days and were less than impressed. The front desk staff was aloof and unfriendly. We had been assured that free Wi-Fi was available in each room. Had settled in to our room when we found it did not have computer service. They grudgingly moved us to another room which was the size of a closet. We then also found that there was indeed a service charge. Location was good and an easy walk to the center of town. It was very hot in Vienna while we were there and the air conditioning in the hotel was inadequate. As mentioned by others, the breakfasts were very good. Overall, I would not return to this hotel.

every inch a 4 star hotel

Stayed in the Hotel Stehanie with friends for four days after Christmas. The staff were courtious and helpful and spoke very good english. The rooms were very warm, spacious and spotless. We only had breakfast there, I have never seen such lovely breakfast buffet, there was plenty of everything and even champagne ,.I would deffinitely stay there again and would highly reccomend it.
