Hotel Austria is an excellent choice for a short stay in Vienna. It is very centrally located and within walking distance to museums, restaurants, parks, shopping, and transportation to other parts of the city and the airport. The staff was most helpful and very pleasant. The rooms are nicely decorated and everything was very clean. The bathrooms were spacious, with shelves for storing your toiletries. The breakfast was plentiful, with many choices, and very good.

The hotel is very easy to access, being just a short walk from the U-Bahn station and tram stop at Schwedenplatz (lines U1 and U4) and a reasonable walk from the new terminus for the rail link to Swechat Airport. Being within the Ring, it's central for most of the tourist sights in the City. Also, there are plenty of restaurants in the area. All of the staff that we encountered were friendly, responsive and efficient. We will definitely use this hotel again on our next visit to Vienna.

Arrived from USA. My sister and I and my 17 year old son who is going to school in Austria. Very nice neat clean. Not too far from the train we took from the airport. Stayed 2 nights. The breakfast included was awesome. We had a room for 3 people, was small but adequate. We opened the window at night for a little ventilation because the room was a little stuffy. My son slept on a small sleeper chair, maids forgot to make up the first night, but we got along fine. They apologized for that and the next day after touring, we found his bed neatly prepared. Staff was kind.

This was a great hotel in a great location... especially for the price. I recommend this hotel to even the pickiest of hotel guests. Our room was huge, and the front desk was extremely helpful.
