Posted: May 22, 2004 - KeithLafayette - The hotel is located within walking distance of Karlzplatz U-Bahn (Seccession Building exit), right beside the excellent restaurants and pubs of the Nachtmarkt and very close to supermarkets and a pharmacy. So the Beethoven scores highly for location. We don't speak much German and the staff quickly realised our deficiency and made us feel very welcome in English. The receptionist was so welcoming and brought us up to our room. I had booked a higher class of room than I thought and it was well worth it.. Read review
Posted: Nov 24, 2007 - Harry_Callaghan - The location was very close to the main centre but yet in a quite street which is fantastic and so we opted to sleep with the windows open with no air conditioning (air conditioning was available in our room but I believe only 50% of rooms have air con). The breakfast offer complimentary fresh eggs and bacon made to order, fresh fruit salad and an excellent coffee machine.. Read review
Posted: Oct 06, 2006 - Bethian - This hotel was lovely with good furnishings, very clean, excellent breakfast selection, and all the staff we encountered we extremely helpful. We walked to the main sites in minutes and only took public transport to visit Schonbrunn (very easy to get to). There were lots of places to eat along the main street at the bottom of this quiet side road, including the marvellous Naschmarkt.. Read review
