Conveniently located just on the Ring, facing the Opera. Close to the heart of old town (no more than 10 minutes walking to St. Stephen) and to all public transports (metro, tram) with a taxy station just in front of the hotel. Safe area. The staff is very nice, helpful and friendly. They tried to speak Italian, provide us with all information required about city attractions and on arrival left in our room complimentary water bottle, fruits and chocolates. Room extremly spacious and clean. The 20th-century building is a little strange: no hall, just a reception. No shared spaces or bar, just a breakfast room on 3rd floor (very nice: it overlooks the Opera). Breakfast was good with a good choice of items (eggs, cakes, ham, cheese and so on). Premises in good general order, although some renovation would be advisable (e.g. stairs, doors, entrance). At the end of the day, the hotel is for sure a very good base to explore this elegant city.

I did a lot of research before choosing this hotel as my requirements were pretty daunting. I needed to find accomodation in the centre of Vienna, suitable for my family for a full week while I dodged off to do business. What can I say? It was just the ticket. Billed as a three star, I would categorise this as a decent 4 star. I took a suite which comprosed of two interconnecting rooms plus 2 bathrooms and lounge area. All extremely well equipped, modern, clean and spacious. My room had a view (only just) of the Opera house, which was great. It's not luxurious, there are no public areas or fitness facilities. However the staff are incredibly helpful and the breakfast room, overlooking the Opernring, is charming. Breakfast in particular is very enjoyable with a lovely array of fruits, breads and cereals. The only possible limiting aspect is that the Hotel does not cater beyond breakfast - no room service or lunch/dinner. However the hotel is within easy walking distance of all that Vienna has to offer. We found great family restaurants each evening so it was not a problem. If I were travelling alone, I might have preferred the option of room service. Otherwise, I would go again.
