This is a good hotel in a great location. They have some rather small, dark, dank rooms, but they will change the room if you ask. Our room was lovely, bright. Breakfast was also good. Right in the walking zone, so it was in the mix of things.

All the previous reviews are correct. There are some major pros and cons. The pros are: the place is centrally located in the tourist area and the price is very fair. I found the breakfest to be adequate but not memorable. Staff does try to be helpful and polite. The cons are: the rooms are VERY SMALL and if you are overweight this really is not the place for you. The decor of the rooms are a bit dated but as my wife puts it, "is very charming". Overall the place does have value for the money, and is not bad, but there might be better places available. Lastly, (and most importantly to me), the hotel DOES NOT have air conditioning. If you are going in the summer, please be aware of this. I went in the end of June, and the place was VERY HOT. They do give you a fan, but it is not adequate. I would stay away during the hot months if I was you.
