It's a good hotel, clean and with buffet breakfast. The staff is not very nice but kind. The rooms are small but comfortable with a big bed. The hotel is far from the center of the city but near the tram stop and the subway stop.
If you have the windows open you can hear sometimes the tram during the night...but this is romantic, no?

My partner and I escaped to Hotel Alexander after a bad stint in another hotel in Vienna. It was a lovely little hotel in a safe part of town. A metro is nearby, as is pubs, restuarants, and the odd grocery store. It's a bit expensive for the budget traveller, but worth it. The staff were amazing, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was a big bathtub to soak in. I absolutely recommend this hotel.
