Parkhotel Hall in Tirol - Hall in Tirol, Austria 

Abbiamo soggiornato durante il capodanno 2008 al parkhotel. L'esperienza e' stata a dir poco traumatica! Nulla da eccepire per quanto riguarda l'hotel in se... pulito, molto carino e con un panorama eccezionale. Le mie lamentele riguardano i seguenti punti: 1. La cena del primo giorno: brodino slavato con striscioline di frittata, un pezzetto di pollo semitrasparente ed una mousse di cioccolato a dir poco oscena. Servizio pessimo. 2. Il secondo giorno andiamo ad Innsbruck. Al nostro ritorno alle ore 15 la camera non era ancora stata pulita. Ci mettiamo a letto a riposarci un po' ed ecco la signora delle pulizie entrare ed insultarci in tedesco perche' le abbiamo chiesto di ripassare piu' tardi. 3. Il terzo giorno ecco che si consuma l'ennesima tragedia. Ore 9 senza bussare ritorna la signora delle pulizie! E' possibile che non abbiano un orario preciso per entrare??? Cosi' ci prepariamo ed usciamo dalla camera alla volta di Seefeld. 4. Dulcis in fundo ritorniamo in camera alle16. Tentiamo di riposare in vista del veglione di san silvestro. Appena ci addormentiamo ecco entrare, rigorosamente senza bussare, l'addetta al minibar la quale senza proferire parola e guardandoci inizia a riempire il minibar lasciando la porta aperta. Se volete un po' di privacy non venite qui!!!!

After reading about this hotel, we decided to give it a try on our trip. We've stayed in Hall before and love the location of the town. We have stayed in Hall when visiting the Swarovski Crystal Worlds, and find Hall to be a great location. We were more than pleased with this choice. There were some minor problems on arrival, seems that for some reason the hotel had cancelled our reservation. We had reserved using Venere.com and had our confirmation paper with us. The wonderful lady working the front desk told me not to worry, as they had rooms, but did look into things and found that for some reason a co-worker had cancelled the reservation. I did not pursue things from here, since they had rooms and I had used a third party for booking. Mix-ups happen and things worked out fine. We were given a wonderful room on the tower, which overlooked a park and had great views. The room had one wall that was all windows, so the views could be enjoyed. The room was spotless and fairly large. Everything was clean and in great condition. One of the nicest things in the room was a laptop with free high speed internet. The room included a nice seating area, workspace; color TV, mini bar, ample closet space and a comfortable bed. All the furnishings in the room were modern and sleek. Another feature that I loved was the fact that several of the windows opened. Something that is lacking in American hotels and I wish we could find here in the states more often. It's nice to be able to have the fresh air blow into the room on a cool spring night! The bath was also clean and spacious, with double sinks and plenty of counter space. Everything was white and spotless. Shampoos, conditioner, etc were all provided. Linens were of good quality as well. We also visited the hotel bar and restaurant and found both to be excellent. Service was great and the food outstanding. We were visiting during Asparagus seasons so many of the dishes were geared around this. Fantastic deserts as well. The staff here was superb. Friendly and very accommodating. English was no problem here, and since my German is lacking this made communication easy. This hotel has a lot to be proud of, and the staff here has much to do with that. Everyone from the bartender, the front desk, to our server in the restaurant was a pleasure to deal with. We couldn't have been more pleased with this choice and will certainly stay here on future trips.
