Bloberger Hof - Salzburg, Austria     

My wife and I and another couple recently stayed at the Bloberger Hof family run hotel 5 km outside Salzburg. Our rooms were clean, comforftable and with beautiful views across to the Alps. The staff were very helpful and informative about the area. The restaurant food was good and varied and we particularly enjoyed the local wines. We all enjoyed our stay and thoroughly reccommend the hotel.

Our stay in this hotel for 4 nights in June was wonderful.Although 15 min away from the town center, it was great to be in the countryside at the foot of the Alps. There was a convenient bus service to town, # 21, every 15 min during the day, with a stop a few min from the hotel. The place was charming , overlooking a flower garden, and spotlessly clean. Our room was large and tastefully decorated. It had a 4 poster bed, sitting area, and walkin closet. It had also a balcony overlooking the mountains. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, it was served on the patio ,or in the restaurant when it was raining. We did not get to try the restaurant for dinner as it was closed. Inge was a good host and very helpful. Will definitely stay there again , if we return to salzburg.
