The small size of the guesthouse enables you to relax in an intimate atmosphere. All rooms are furnished in either traditional or modern Austria style, some even with canopy bed and courtyard-view, and contribute to the historical experience of your stay.

All of the 30 guest rooms are located in a listed but newly renovated turn-of-the century building. The house was built in 1900 and the the breakfast room and the stucco works on the house facade resemble this time period.

An elevator connects the rooms across the three floor building.
Unfortunately there are no special facilities for disabled people.

The Adlerhof is located conveniently close to Salzburgs main train station (300 metres) as well as to the Historical Town Centre (15 walking minutes) and the Salzburg Congress centre (10 walking minutes).As the Adlerhof is located in the modern centre of Salzburg, you can experience the contrast of the museum like atmosphere in the historical town with how life is in modern Austria.
As the train and Salzburgs main bus station are close to the Adlerhof it is a good starting point for excursions to Salzburgs surroundings (Lake District, Eagles Nest, Ice Caves, Hallstatt, etc...) by public transprot. The Adlerhof staff can help in assisting you planning your trips.
The airport W.A. Mozart is 8 km away from the Adlerhof.

Stayed 1 night before moving on ,the place was nice and clean,breakfast very basic the and the staff ,not that we saw many " where nice enough,there's not much more i can say regarding the Adlerhof.the plus was it 's near the rail station,but i dont think it's essensial for thers plenty of buses going back and fore to the station from all parts of Salzburg.My summing up ,O.K for 1or2 nights certainly not more.

If you are using this hotel in the near future, insist on a room at the back, there are roadworks at the moment, and the workmen start very early in the morning, also their rubbish bins are collected even earlier!!!
Otherwise a reasonable hotel at a reasonable price.... for Salzburg. Good location for transport out /in of the city. Can recommend a scenic trip by train to Zell am See and use the ski lifts for the "top of the world" views also train station is right by the lake there.
